An service provider might get into a state in which synchronization cannot proceed, such as loss of network access. In these cases the service provider should display a failure message immediately.
An service provider should show these types of error messages only when the ActiveSync program has set the BSF_SHOW_FATAL_ERRORS sub-flag. An service provider should check the BSF_SHOW_FATAL_ERRORS when the synchronization engine calls the IReplStore::ReportStatusAPI with the RSC_BEGIN_SYNC parameter.
