This function is called by a file system driver (FSD) to write sectors to a disk.
Syntax
DWORD FSDMGR_WriteDisk( HDSK hDsk, DWORD dwSector, DWORD cSectors, PBYTE pBuffer, DWORD cbBuffer ); |
Parameters
- hDsk

[in] Handle to the disk; this is the same value that was passed to the FSD_MountDiskfunction.
- dwSector

[in] Starting sector number.
- cSectors

[in] Number of sectors to write.
- pBuffer
-
[in] Pointer to the buffer that contains the data to write to the disk.
- cbBuffer
-
[in] Size of the buffer, in bytes.
Return Value
ERROR_SUCCESS indicates success. A standard Windows API error code indicates failure.
