The PutPropertymethod sets the value of a property associated with an object.

Syntax 

HRESULT PutProperty(
  BSTR sz
Property,
  VARIANT 
vtValue
);

Parameters

szProperty

[in] Variable of type BSTRthat specifies the name of the property.

vtValue

[in] VARIANTof type VT_BSTRthat specifies the new value of the property.

Return Value

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

S_OK

The method completed successfully.
