Understanding custom queries

Custom queries are useful when you want inventory details about hardware and software installed on your devices. Use a custom query to build a list of computers that have similar inventory. Custom queries are also used to define groups and scopes.

The Custom queries page (click Reporting > Queries in the left navigation pane) displays a list of queries that you have saved. To run a saved query, select the query, then select Run.

NOTE: If the query list spans multiple pages, use the arrows at the top of the page to navigate between pages. Enter the number of items to display per page and click Set.
