To set the idle session time-out

Using the Windows interface

  1. Open Services for UNIX Administration.
  2. If necessary, connect to the remote computer you want to manage.
  3. Click Telnet Server.
  4. Click the Server Settings tab.
  5. Click Disconnect idle client sessions after, and then, in the boxes provided, type a value in hours, minutes, or seconds.
  6. To save the settings, click Apply.

Using a command line

Argument Description
computer The name of the remote computer you want to manage.
hh:mm:ss The time-out period in hours, minutes, and seconds.
